The costs are relative when you add in the costs of the duct work for conventional systems. It costs somewhere between $500.00 and up per ton. That makes the average ductless split heat pump cost about a few thousand and up. There is usually a 1 year warranty on indoor units and 3 to 6 years on compressors.
